The egg laying has stopped now - I have left two eggs in her cage. Be calm and just like you are doing wrap the bird up and promptly put the bird in the cage until he calms down.
How have you worked through conure nippy phases? She just wants to be around me 24/7 and while that is sweet it is also tiring. Dogs typically nibble on other dogs and humans as a way to play with them, to explore objects around them, to show dog mouthing affection, and during the teething phase of puppyhood. He uses his tongue too like he is exploring or tasting or something.
Otherwise she mostly nibbles and preens my face.

Hehehe, that makes me laugh!
Top. She also can’t stand when anyone touches her favorite coffee cups or glasses that she likes to tap on.
I guess it was just her time. First she does me, then I pet her fluffy little head, then it's bedtime for birds. She is basicly frantic to be right on my face all the time.

For example, this can be something as straightforward as protecting their food or water source.
She must be right next to me every waking moment or will cry out all most nonstop.
I use Dial soap, but have used that forever, and haven't changed anything that I could think of. I'd love it if it kept licking me, bird tongues are so weird

To the surprise of many conure owners, you should look to change the bird’s routine from time to time. However, what if there was a way to change your routine and try something new?Studies have shown it’s possible for a conure to stop biting or becoming aggressive when you change up their routine for the better. To change the routine, it’s important to handle them gently and make sure everything is done with a plan. With time, you are going to start feeling confident and the conure will stop biting.
It is getting super obnoxious.
For example, you are going to get the conure reacquainted with your touch and building a positive association with your presence. Remember, conures can be sensitive birds and will not always respond well to unwanted changes. You may not edit your posts. I just like clean fresh air. thanks sofia and milo . it is very bizarre and I am not sure what to do. Parrots often use their beaks in the place of a hand to grab onto toys, food, perches, and sometimes their owners. Needless to say she loves me; it’s the laundry that she doesn’t like. I have a sun conure i actually got for my daughter however the little fellow took to me because i fed him, played and acted a fool to teach him to dance...screech won't go to anyone unless i place them on him..
I'm SO sorry to hear this, rest in peace little one

Goldie gets really aggressive about folding laundry clothes for some reason and will lunge and bite as well. At the time the vet and I thought it was hormonal, but I did all I could think of to stop that, even a hormone shot.
