Abby has wavy brown hair, which she usually complains about … I am a huge fan of these fairytale re-tellings. I also loved that the whole story, they were trying to get out of the book, instead of trying to fix it because, again, Abby and Jonah trying to fix different fairy tales over and over again was starting to get boring.Three years ago, when my oldest daughter, Abby, was a much more reluctant reader we began this series.
From then on they try many different Wonderland edibles including mushrooms, tomato tarts, carrot cakes, and the Mad Hatter’s tea. They have no idea where they are until they see a sign that says "Drink me." As for Frankie, she just thought it was a dream. This was a cute book and I'm a sucker for fairy tale retellings (although this seems to be the only book in the series that retells a children's book rather than a fairy tale). You can find it at online at your favorite independent bookstore. It says that Abby in Wonderland is longer than the others in the series, and has bonus contentTry looking at the edition on Goodreads with the cover. 217 pages. Now, we are NOT messing this Mlynowski. I would definitely recommend this book for children ages 10+, as some parts of the book can be a little confusing for younger readers.
