Did they do some setup on your modem to allow connection coming from S5 vacuum to go out their network and then to the internet so it can connect to Xioami clouds? Step 2.
Make sure you select the right model when setting wifi.

I'm currently a student living in a university apartment so the wifi is set up to where I can either use the certificate installed on my phone to connect to the password protected wifi without entering the password, or I can use a hidden, unsecured network to connect (which is what I do in the case of most of my devices like Amazon Echos). The only time i have managed to connect the Roborock was when i used a hotspot from phone A so that phone B could connect to it and then connect to the "broadcasted" wifi of the Roborock.I have been in extensive communication with Roborock side and none from the below solutions have worked for me.Lastly when i mimicked my routers name and passwork using the phone A hotspot (eg changed my phones name and password to match the netgear router) the Roborock connected (i had the Router OFF) but when the hotspot was switched off and the router back on i got no connection results.PS; this roborock does not have a mac address so i could add it. Open the top cover of the Roborock S6 and you will see the WiFi indicator light.
