The McPherson Tape is an arguably true story about the McPherson family who had met up for Thanksgiving like any other normal American family, totally unaware as to what the night would hold for them. He should have been all over that "alien" with his camera. The movie is basically about an American family coming together for thanksgiving. So how come when the guy actually brings the alien into the house, the video guy doesn't even get a shot of it? I thought "what the hell" and watched it anyway. The alien abductions themselves are not really the focus here. I was bored one day because there was nothing on, when i came across The McPherson tape. Talk about couples goals! Far from the film students that try to capture footage of a witch in Maryland, Alioto’s camera is at times unfocused or pointing at the wrong thing or even left alone on a table while the action happens off-screen.
