'Twas the night before finals, when all through the dormsAll the students were studying, it was the new norm;And I had settled in the library listening to the pencils tap,To my right I see a bookcase come down with a crash.His face looked like he had just seen a scary clown,I knew in that moment I could make the knowledge stick.And I studied, and memorized, and called the classes by name:Even though I had tough problems I had to stop and try;The starbucks was far, from the library to the basement,And I was suddenly annoyed with its poor placement;The warmth of the Starbucks, just what I needed to melt the ice!I gained the motivation to do a quick Starbucks run,Engulfed by the studying, I wasn’t distracted by that wreath;It shook when I studied, like a bowl full of jelly.And I laughed when I thought of the amount of sleep I would get tonight;And wrote flashcards; these notes are turning into a real jerk,And giving a nod, down the notes page I feel like I’m dead;But I heard myself say, as my paper drifted out of sight—This may very well be my favorite collaboration of 2020.If you haven't heard it yet, here you go, and you're welcome.
