neutral light not working on 660 rhino

I have been dieing to get my banshee out there but it will have to wait. Progress!

I'm confident the harness and ground cables are already hooked up properly.. What else could cause the neutral light to be out?
Then I realized I didnt want to try moving yet because i didnt have the seat on, so I tried to put the bike back back into neutral.. The neutral safety switch completes the circuit allowing the motor to start. I also have an extra CDI and regulator which I tried swapping, and nothing.. Only thing I havent tried is push starting it. Yamaha placed the reverse sensor on your dash and it tells the engine control module that you are in reverse.

Neutral light does not come on and oil temp flashes when I push starter button. I have a 2006 Rhino 660 and the red reverse light on the dash panel lights solid red when in reverse gear like it it supposed to.
