I'm in the market for a roadworthy Cortez. The only difference is mine has the slant 6. Originally came with a slant 6 from the factory in 68, in 71 they up graded the drivetrain with a toronado fwd drive train, three-speed automatic and 455 V8.

Not exactly an Autozone kind of thing.
