The beginning of the film tells of the despair and struggles that Claudine has to face a mother of six children living on welfare.

A quality romance-drama for people who like a little more reality with their romance.... the dialog rings true, as does the situation and the logistical difficulties of love v's paying the rent, and the kids act like real kids do in a single-mum family. The image is an example of a ticket confirmation email that AMC sent you when you purchased your ticket.

This was one of many films that had an all African-American cast.
