I just purchased the Intex 32x16x52 Pool and experiencing the same sagging on the sides. Anyone else have this issue??? It doesn’t matter where it is sitting. You have to do whatever it takes to be able to bolt the wall together. This will shorten the track. Hi, I have recently set up an Intex 10' x20' rectangular metal frame pool with a vinyl liner on my backyard, (concrete surface) and started pooring water into it, I am almost half way and have noticed that the side walls (20') are starting to curve towards the inside of the pool so I stopped filling more water into it. Back in the eighties when I started building these things, most of our pools were built out of shape. What to do? We had fairly level ground to start with and did a 2" sand base - everything level throughout to within 1/2" (using Stanley Cibix Cross style Laser level at night). I believe it is also poorly designed.

Bestway pool sides bowing in

Bestway pool sides bowing in

by

Bestway 58237 Above Ground Pool Cleaning Vacuum & Maintenance Accessories Kit. and 45 mins to set the pool up.

Raising the wall too high without raising the rest of the bottom may give you coving issues. It’s level, wall met up and joined well.

The pool is level and it makes me nervous when the kids are in playing. I put the liner in but was not careful enough to get in the very centre (and/or it is not perfectly round). Thoughts?! We had a couple of wrinkles in the side of the original liner.

You’ll have to get the styrofoam out of the way so cut about a foot of it out around the perimeter so you have room for the wall to move.

Don’t let that bottom round seam bug you. any suggestions?Hi and yes. Are these pools sometimes smaller than the diameter as specified? The result is the track can easily become a shape other than what it is supposed to be.The other way a pool gets built out of shape is not a result of a lack of building ability, but because the pool is not precise.

We are just putting up a intex 32' x 16' ultra frame rectangular pool.

Wanted to see if this were normal.

All bottom rails are butted up to each other in joined plates so track cannot shrink anymore. The pool is in a hole so can’t adjust legs after or as I gradually fill pool.

Is the pool in the ground at all? as it stands now we are going to build concrete pillars along the pool sides to brace the whole frame, i cannot help but think the larger pools may not be suitable as the stand alone frame that is supplied.

When first filling the pool we had significant bowing, but as the water level went up, the sides started to "square-up". A lot of them are.So about those vertical supports… I’ve gotten my 18′ 52″ pool up (with the help of a small army) and started filling it up.
